Quick Hits with Brandon Croley

The Clemson Tigers are searching to find a corner to fill the position vacated by future NFL star Justin Miller and Brandon Croley is hoping he will be one of the candidates next fall. CUTigers.com caught up with the redshirt freshman after the Orange and White....<BR>

How did you feel about the dominating performance of the defense today?
Croley: Yeah, that's basically what we did all spring. The defense played real hard today and this spring. We just tried to execute again today and did it.

Do you believe you will be able to battle for playing time in the fall?
Croley: I sure do. I need to make sure I work hard over the summer. That's going to decide it right there.

What did the coaching staff tell the team after the game?
Croley: They told us to work hard this summer. The last practice the coaches showed us a few drills that we can work on over the summer. I'm going to be on that and work hard so hopefully I can come back in the fall and make a move to start.

How do you feel about the new defensive coaches on the staff this spring?
Croley: They are helping us a lot. They are doing a great job so far.

Can you discuss the youth in the secondary?
Croley: Yeah, the majority of the secondary is redshirt freshmen or sophomores. Everybody is just trying to play hard. I think we are doing pretty good so far.
