McDaniel Takes in Spring Game

This Tallahassee, Fla. native received plenty of attention from the Clemson coaches, players, and even future NFL star Justin Miller Saturday during the Orange & White game.

caught up with the Florida standout and we've got all the details on his visit to Tiger Town, in this report!
6-foot-1, 180 pound wide receiver/safety prospect DeAndre McDaniel made the quick trip to Clemson to see the annual Orange & White game this past Saturday. "It was a nice visit. I enjoyed it good. I went up there with T.J. Williams. We are riding home right now," McDaniel told Sunday evening.

How would McDaniel rate his first visit to Tiger Town? "I would give it a nine on a scale of one to 10," said the Florida native.

What did the prize recruit enjoy the most about the visit? "I enjoyed going around the campus. I really liked the coaches. I also like their defense," said McDaniel.

"I got to speak with Coach Swinney a lot, and Coach Blackwell and Coach Bowden. They just told me that they will be coming after me real hard."

Justin Miller also spent some time talking with McDaniel during the Orange and White game. "He was just telling me that Clemson is a good place to be. He told me they have a lot of fans at the game. He said a lot of fans support you at Clemson."

McDaniel is already building an impressive offer list, including schools like Clemson, Georgia and Arkansas. Will distance become a factor if the local schools offer? "The local schools don't really have an advantage. It is going to be the depth chart," said McDaniel.

When asked if he has any early favorites, McDaniel responded, "No, not yet. I'm probably going to make an early decision. I will probably decide sometime next fall."
