"I still have those offers from Auburn and Louisville. I have some other schools recruiting me hard though," Eugene Sowell said.
Do any schools standout for Sowell at this time?
"I like Auburn, Louisville, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Clemson and LSU. I wouldn't really say I have a favorite, I just really like the whole SEC."
Why does he favor the schools he mentioned?
Auburn: "They've got a great program. I've been around them for a while and my brother played there."
Louisville: "They're on the rise. Anybody can see that. They have a real good program. I spoke to their recruiting coordinator and they have a great team coming up. Also, their running back left."
Alabama: "Growing up in Alabama all you hear about is Alabama and Auburn. Two of my brother's friends went to Bama and my brother had a good connection with some of the coach's over there."
Florida: "They've always been good in my mind. I definitely wouldn't mind playing there."
Tennessee: "I went down to a camp with my brother one time in the 6th or 7th game and I always liked them ever since then."
Clemson: "It's just pretty much a good team. A good team all around."
LSU: "I grew up in Louisiana and I like them a lot."
What is Eugene seeking in a program?
"For the most part I'm just looking at academics. I'm not going to be able to play forever so I need something to fall back on. I also want disciplinary coach's and a great atmosphere, workouts and all that."
Sowell will be in attendance at the Scout.com Combine in Auburn this weekend.
