Lovett Moves On Again

Former Clemson defensive coordinator leaves Louisiana Tech for Bowling Green.

Lovett, who was hired in early March to be the defensive coordinator at Louisiana Tech, informed Bulldogs head coach Jack Bicknell this past weekend that he was taking the same job at Bowling Green.

Lovett was the defensive cooridnator and secondary coach at Clemson for three seasons (2002-04).

The former defensive coordinator at Clemson, along with defensive assistant Theilen Smith and offensive coordinator Mike O'Cain, was let go by head coach Tommy Bowden last fall at the conclusion of the 2004 season.

Smith has since been hired at Marshall. Lovett landed at Louisiana Tech earlier this year before leaving the Bulldogs for Bowling Green. Top Stories
