The 6-1, 210 pound linebacker prospect picked up an offer from the Tigers today. "Yeah Clemson offered today. I am very excited, very excited. My coach told me, 'congratulations you got an offer from Clemson.' I am going to call the coach tonight," Gbadyu told CUTigers.com.

Clemson coach Billy Napier is recruiting the talented linebacker for the Tigers.

The star linebacker already has an impressive offer list. "Yeah I have offers from Oklahoma, Boston College, Marshall, Syracuse, Indiana, Duke and a few others," stated the talented defender.

When asked if he has any early favorites, Gbadyu responded, "No, I just want to see as many schools as I can."

A commitment may be months away, but the prize recruit knows what he wants in a college. "I'm looking for early playing time. I am also looking for a good education and a team with good team chemistry. I want to go where they have good coach player communication," said Gbadyu.

"I want to major in child therapy or child psychology. I loved kids. I also want a school that can win ball games and has a good graduation rate."

A timefram for a commitment is still up on the air. "My coach and I have talked about it. It's possible I could make an early commitment, but I could wait until January or February. It's not going to be during the season. My coach has made that clear to all of the coaches," added Gbadyu.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding linebacker from Maryland, right up through signing day 2006.
