Florida running back C.J. Spiller (5-10, 185, 4.4) now has offers from Miami, USC, Clemson and Auburn, bringing his total close to 20.
Spiller favors the three in-state schools, Florida, Florida State and Miami, slightly over Auburn, USC, Oklahoma, Clemson and Texas. "But I want to go through the whole process because there are about 10 schools that I'm seriously look at," said Spiller.
"I haven't ruled anybody out yet. I like the Florida schools because I know them the most, but distance won't be an issue. I'll definitely visits schools outside of the area."
Spiller says the Gators are recruiting him the hardest. "I talk to them a lot," said Spiller. "I call them almost everyday because they really want to hear from me. Also, they send me the most letters and cards. I really like the running back coach (Stan Drayton). I got to know him really well.
"I like the coaches at USC too. They've don't a great job there and they have a great offense. Miami is also known for producing great running backs every year. I haven't been there yet, but from what I know about them and see about them on TV I like. I really want to sit back and relax this summer and just work out and get ready for the season."
He reports a 3.5 GPA and a 21 ACT score.
