Tigers Take the Lead

Ricky Sapp is one of the elite players on the east coast this recruiting year and he's picked up over forty offers to his credit thus far in the process. It looks like now however that Ricky is ready to narrow his list and he names a brand new top four with a leader.

"My top four is Clemson, Georgia, North Carolina State and Florida State," Ricky Sapp said.

So who's on top?

"Clemson has a bit of an advantage right now. I've just gotten to know them more than any of the other schools. I really love the coaching staff. Coach West is a great guy."

What stands out about the other programs on his list?

Georgia: "That's the Bulldogs. I love the facilities they have."

North Carolina State: "It's in the city and I like that."

Florida State: "Bobby Bowden. That's about all that needs to be said."

Could a decision be just around the corner for Sapp?

"I want to make a decision by the end of the summer but I'm not sure I can do that yet. I think I'm going to try and take officials to all of them before I do make a decision. I'm not sure if I'll camp anywhere."

What will he base his decision on?

"I'm looking at playing time, coaching style and facilities. I want to get in right away and contribute."
