Top GA QB Camping at Clemson?

The Clemson Tigers will host some of the top college football players in the southeast this weekend when the high school team camps heat up. Will Georgia native D'Vontrey Richardson be in Tiger Town?

The 6-1, 205 pound quarterback hoped to visit Clemson with his teammates this weekend, but unfortunately he will be playing another sport instead. "I have a baseball game tomorrow so I'm not going to be able to make it," Richardson told Thursday evening.

"I've been throwing the baseball not the football so I didn't want to get up there and not be my best."

Richardson has already told the Clemson coaching staff that he will not be making the trip. "I talked with the coaches and they understand," stated the prize recruit.

When asked if he is ready to name a leader, Richardson responded, "No, not yet. I'm going to talk to my coach on Monday. We are going to narrow things down some then I believe. My last baseball game is tomorrow so we are going to talk on Monday and get some things worked out."

The schools recruiting the talented athlete strictly as a quarterback appear to have an advantage. "I'm probably going to select a top five (Monday). I think Clemson, Marshall and Oregon will be on the list because they want me as a quarterback," said the dual threat QB.
