Fla DE Impressed with Bowden

Rodney Gnat (6'4", 225, 4.65), a defensive end/linebacker from Samuel F. Wolfson high school in Jacksonville (FL) was able to check in with Scout.com with an update this week.

"Right now I have offers from Louisville, Connecticut, and Central Florida." Gnat reports that he has camped at Florida State, Central Florida, and Clemson.

Gnat lists his favorites as Connecticut, Louisville, Central Florida, and Clemson.

Connecticut - "I definitely feel good about the school its got a great atmosphere. It's a little too far but I do have family in New York and Pennsylvania."

Central Florida - "I have a chance to play early, and that may play into my decision, because it will help me get my name out on the collegiate level. All of their facilities are great, especially their indoor stadium, which is nice when there is a hurricane we could still get our work done."

Louisville - "I have lots of interest in them, and I love their style of play, they are always attacking and I like that a lot."

Clemson - "Tommy Bowden is a great coach, plus there is the greatest twenty five seconds in college football. I also have a friend who goes there as well."

Gnat also claims interest from Minnesota, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Maryland, South Florida, and Georgia.

"Which ever school I pick I am going to have to get comfortable with them, I am going to have to go see the schools that are far away like UConn and Louisville."

"Central Florida and Louisville want to use me as a Linebacker first until I beef p enough to play defensive end, they say they will use my speed off the edge and on special teams."

Gnat has also set up Official Visits with Louisville and Central Florida as well.
