Ryan Brown (6'2, 240), a star linebacker out of Berkley High School registered 48 tackles and two sacks in four games this past season. His junior year was cut short do to an unfortunate ankle injury in the forth game of the year.
Brown is a tenacious hitter on the football field, and a strong athete in the weight room. He bench presses 340 pounds, has a vertical leap of 33 inches, and runs close to a 4.5 40-yard dash. Without question, he clearly has the skills, athleticism, and desire to play at the division I-A level.
And naturally, he's been receiving interest from schools all around the southeast, including Clemson, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama.
As it stands now, it appears that Brown has recovered quite nicely from his ankle injury, and his stock should rise as he visits several camps throughout the summer. We'll keep you updated on Ryan Brown as we receive more information.
