Matthew Brim (6'6, 300, 5.1) has been turning the heads of most division I-A colleges around the country for quite some time now.
Its no wonder why as he has impressive height at 6'6, weighs in at just over 300 lbs, and can bench press 350 lbs and squat 425. As a junior, he graded out at over 89%, and also was an all-conference and all-county selection for the Carver Yellow Jackets.
He also has been receiving steady interest from schools like Clemson, N.C. State, North Carolina, Maryland and Virginia. In fact, he attended North Carolina and Virginia's "Junior Day" earlier in February.
Most scouts think that he'll likely be an offensive tackle (his current position) at the collegiate level. We'll continue to keep you updated on this outstanding prospect throughout the spring and summer, however reports indicate that Brim will decide before the start of next season. It may simply come down to where he feels most comfortable at during his visits to various football camps around the southeast this summer.
As of right now, he is planning on visiting Virginia, Wake Forest, and North Carolina State.
