Schaeffer Will Not Come to Clemson

Updating a report released earlier today, former Tennessee quarterback Brent Schaeffer will not be enrolling at Clemson. has learned that former Tennessee quarterback Brent Schaeffer will not transfer to Clemson to play football.

Updating a previous report today, sources have confirmed that Clemson is not in position to accept a potential transfer.

With three quarterbacks on the roster in Will Proctor, Cullen Harper, and Tribble Reese after senior quarterback Charlie Whitehurst leaves the program in 2006, and with a current commitment from Riverside QB Michael Wade and the likely impending commitment of Byrnes junior QB Will Korn, the quarterback position appears to be in good hands for the forseeable future.
