The rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference better look out, because the Clemson Tigers are quickly building one of the top wide receiving units in the country. WR Tymere Zimmerman, one of the most prized recruits in this year's class, sas now quailified to play football at Clemson University.
He received the word yesterday and upon announcing his decision, he had just one thing to say, "Now I'm a Tiger, lets go win a national championship."
Tymere is a standout two way player that will likely get a look at wide receiver and at safety this fall. Originally out of Marlboro County High School in Bennettsville, SC, Zimmerman played his football this past season at Fork Union Military Academy to work on getting his acadmics in order.
At 6'4, 208 lbs, Zimmerman has all the physical tools to compete at the highest level in college. He'll likely crack the two deep depth chart and earn significant playing time his first year at Clemson.
Ty brought in 25 catches and six touchdowns this past season to along with some enormous numbers in high school.
