2003 Profile: DT Michael Hill

The Tigers are looking into the great state of Alabama, and defensive tackle prospect Michael Hill in 2003. Here is the latest one of Smith Stations' top defensive prospects.

Michael Hill (6'3, 275, 4.9), a top defensive tackle prospect out of Smiths, Alabama has been hearing from a whole range of schools early on in the recruiting process.

Tennessee, Michigan, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and Alabama are his current favorites, and he has been receiving steady interest from each one of those schools.

Hill is actually a two-way player for Smiths Station. Last season on defense, he had 48 tackles and three sacks playing from his defensive tackle position, and on offense he caught seven passes for 115 yards and one touchdown at tight end.

Hill is planning on attending camps this summer at Tennessee, Auburn, and Clemson.

Michael's latest vital statistics are: 285 bench press, 470 squat, and a 25-inch vertical. He is most noted for his good footwork, as well as his general quickness off the line scrimmage. He also projects as a football qualifier, with a GPA of over 3.1, and a qualifying test score.
