Fla ATH Listing Clemson

DeAndre Morgan is a shifty running back with outstanding explosion and burst. He has the balance and quickness to play several positions on the next level including corner, safety, wide receiver, or running back. He has a very good list of offers, and he talks about some of his favorite schools.

"I've gotten offers from Wake Forest, Miami of Ohio, Iowa State, Clemson, Purdue, NC State, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Temple, Rutgers and USF," said Morgan. "I went to camps this summer at Miami, Rutgers here at my school, and Florida."

Morgan has been in touch with several schools and their staffs this summer. "I've called Coach Stroud at NC State, Coach Hand at West Virginia, Coach Mack at Wake Forest, and Coach Orgeron at Ole Miss. In no particular order I like NC State, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, and Clemson."

What does Morgan like about each of those schools?

"My brother DeJuan plays at NC State. I like the defense that West Virginia runs. Wake Forest has a favorable depth chart. I like talking with Coach Orgeron at Ole Miss; he has a lot of energy. Clemson is recruiting me the hardest right now."

Morgan has his first visit set up.

"I'm going to Ole Miss for an official visit on October 21st when they play Kentucky. I'm also going to Wake for an official in January, but I'm not sure of the date."

The season is right around the corner for Morgan and his Suncoast teammates.

"We open against Cardinal Newman on Friday. I'm looking forward to playing Palm Beach Lakes; they do a lot of smack talking in the off season. I'm also looking forward to playing Glades Central; we lost a real tough game to them last year 12-6."
