Jason Bennett, Scout.com's No. 47-rated prospect out of Arlington Country Day High School in Jacksonville, Fla., is having to re-adjust his collegiate thinking in the wake of the resignation of Cincinnati head coach Bob Huggins.
Cincinnati was previously very strong with Bennett and was considered the behind-the-scenes leader for some time. However, with Huggins soon to be out of the picture and the future of the program yet to be decided, Bennett will look elsewhere.
"He had a special bond with Coach Huggins," ACD head coach Rex Morgan said.
Last weekend, Bennett took an unofficial visit to Clemson.
Miami, Georgia and Connecticut are also being considered.
"What we'll do now," Morgan said, "is that he's taking the ACT the 22nd and he'll take his visits in October before the season starts."
