2003 Profile: OL B.W. Yates

Bringing in talent on the offensive line will continue to be the focus with next year's recruiting class. We've got the latest on one of top offensive linemen in South Carolina in this Q & A with B.W. Yates out of Stratford High School.

Its no secret that the Tigers will still be looking to bring in some quality offensive linemen in 2003.

One of the top prospects coming out of the state of South Carolina next year will be OL B.W. Yates (6'5, 280, 5.4), an enourmous prospect from Stratford High School in Goose Creek.

Yates is a student of the game and a very strong student in the classroom. He carries a 3.2 GPA and scored 1130 on his most recent attempt on the SAT.

He has already started receiving interest from Clemson, as well as several other Division I-A schools.

Yates, who is projected as either an offensive guard or tackle at next level, says his strength lies several areas. "I believe my strengths on the field are pass protection, my footwork, and my understanding of what I am to do on any certain play," says Yates.
