Freshman running back James Davis was the featured running back during the Tigers' game-winning drive in the fourth quarter.

In all, he carried the football eight times in Clemson's final drive to help pave the way for Jad Dean's 42-yard field goal. caught up with Davis after the game to get his thoughts on his impressive debut in orange:

What did you think about your first game as a Clemson Tiger?
James Davis: It felt real good. I'm glad I could help the team get a victory.

How did it feel to get the chance to lead the team as a true freshman final drive?
James Dave: It was good. It felt real good. I knew we could take it down and score. I was hoping for the chance and I got it.

Are you glad you made the decision to come back?
