The 6-5, 225 pound defensive end prospect Ricky Sapp was in attendance Saturday night for the Tigers big win over 17th ranked Texas A&M. "I loved it. I love being up there in Death Valley," Sapp told CUTigers.com. "I loved the crowd. It was loud. It is always loud at Clemson."

The prize recruit also said he can't wait for his chance to play in Death Valley. "I'm ready to come up there right now. I can't wait," said Sapp.

Sapp, a five-star prospect, had another impressive performance for Bamberg Ehrhardt this past weekend. "We won 48-0. I had two sacks and seven tackles. I also had a touchdown catch at tight end," he said.

Don't be surprised to see Sapp recruiting other prospects to Tiger Town over the next few months. "I haven't been doing a lot of recruiting yet (for Clemson), but I will be. I plan on doing it," he said. "Next time I'm up there."

Sapp also plans to spend a lot of Saturdays in Death Valley this fall. "I will be back for the Miami game (in two weeks). I plan on being at most of the games this year," he added.

Sapp is expected to attend the South Carolina-Georgia game this weekend. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive end, right up through signing day.
