Nathan Trott (5'11, 175, 4.5) turned some heads last weekend in in the Nike Camp at Chapel Hill. "He demonstrated some outstanding cover skills and was never beaten in the individual drills," says recruiting expert Scott Kennedy.

Trott, a rising senior at Northern Vance High School, will likely play cornerback at the next level. Last season, he registered 55 tackles, and four interceptions, and had two fumble recoveries. Nathan is also a standout punter, averaging just over 37 yards per kick last year.

Several schools are already showing interest, including North Carolina, BYU, Clemson, Duke, Army, and Virginia. That list will likely grow based on his performance last weekend.

Trott has a 34-inch vertical, can bench press 240 lbs, and squat 385. He also projects as a full qualifier with a 3.1 GPA and SAT score of 950.

Interestingly enough, Nathan is also the son of former Clemson Defensive Coordinator Bob Trott. He also was the only underclassmen in a secondary that sent 3 players into the Division I ranks last year.

We'll continue to keep you updated on Nathan Trott throughout the summer.
