Joe Joe Cox is a strong running back from Twiggs County that was an early commitment to Clemson. He backed off of that commitment over the summer, only to turn back around and say he was still committed to Clemson. Where does he stand now?
"I have about 18 offers right now," said Cox. "I'm still committed to Clemson. They're the only school to have called me so far (in September). I do plan on taking some visits. I know Auburn will get a visit for sure and possibly Alabama. I'm taking my official visit to Clemson this weekend. We have a bye week, plus they're playing Miami. I'm really looking forward to it."
"With the bye week, I plan on sitting down with my coach and start to set up my other visits this week."
Cox had a big game last week.
"We played Montgomery County, and we won 28-14. I had 244 yards rushing on just 13 carries. I scored three times, but two were called back because of penalties."
