C.J. Spiller is one of the highest rated un-committed prospects in the country at this point and he was one of many big time recruits in Gainesville this weekend for the annual Florida and Tennessee showdown.
What did he think of the ball game?
"It was loud. It was an exciting game to watch. Both teams played hard. It was a great time to just really see the offense better. They had some nice runs and some nice catches. I was very impressed already and I came away even more impressed now," C.J. Spiller said.
What was his favorite moment of the game?
"The best part was when Florida did that reverse play and really got the game going. It kind of set the tone."
C.J. didn't get a chance to participate in the pre-game festivities, but he did catch up with the coaches after the contest.
"I didn't make it to the Gator Walk. I got there probably 10 or 15 minutes before the kickoff. I did talk to some of the coaches after the game. I spoke to Coach Meyer and Coach Drayton. They were just happy that they got their first win in a big time game. They had a lot of recruits on official visits so we really didn't talk long."
Spiller met up with fellow Florida 5-star, Tim Tebow.
"I talked to Tim Tebow and we were just talking about visits coming up and what not. I may go up to Michigan on October 14th. I just want to go up there and see how it is. The rest of my visits will probably come after the season."
What is his current situation in regards to his favorite schools?
"I'm liking all the Florida schools. I'm starting to like Clemson and Tennessee more. I haven't had a chance to watch Georgia yet but I'm sure I'll get to do that here soon."
