Swinney Visits Alabama WR

Dabo Swinney was in Alabama Friday evening, checking on one of his future wide receivers.

6-3, 185 pound wide receiver prospect Jeff Ogren had another outstanding game this weekend for American Christian Academy.

"It was awesome. We won 44-7. I had two touchdown catches of 39 yards and 30 yards on the first two series. I also caught another pass for a first down. I also had a fumble recovery which I returned 25 yards," Ogren said.

"I didn't get to play offense after the second quarter, but I did play some defense in the second half," he said.

Clemson wide receivers coach Dabo Swinney visited American Christian Academy for the game. "Coach Swinney and Coach Shula were there for the game. Coach Shula (Alabama) was also there to see our quarterback."

When asked how firm his commitment is with the Tigers, Ogren responded, "I'm still firm with Clemson."

Ogren wasn't able to watch the Tigers this weekend. "The game wasn't on down here. I heard about it. It was a tough loss," he added.

The Alabama wide out has visited Clemson two twice this fall (Texas A&M and Miami games), both times unoffically. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from Alabama, right up through signing day.
