Jasper claims his offer total has now reached 6 with his most recent one arriving just two weeks ago. Who is the newest team to extend a scholarship?
"I have offers from Mississippi State, Clemson, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Georgia, South Carolina and Penn State. Georgia just offered me two weeks ago. Coach Jancek came to the school and offered me," Jasper Brooks said.
Three schools stand out to Jasper at this time.
"I like Mississippi State, Clemson and South Carolina the most right now. They're all young right now and their defenses are coming together. I think they would be good programs to join."
What stands out about each of those teams individually?
Mississippi State: "I just like the young talent they have, especially on defense. I think I could fit in well there."
Clemson: "I like their aggressive style on defense."
South Carolina: "I just like their style all around and I like Coach Spurrier."
Brooks has yet to set his first official visit or attend a game this fall.
"I'm setting all my visits after the football season. I'm going to a Georgia game here pretty soon though. The coach said he would be sending me some tickets."
Who all has called him since the contact period began?
"I've gotten calls from North Carolina, Mississippi State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson and South Carolina. North Carolina and Mississippi State are calling me the most. Those are the only two that have really been calling me lately."
Redan has had a tough start to the season but is trying to get back into the playoff hunt.
"Were 2-6 right now and we play Tri-Cities this week. I think we should come out on top. We have a lot of talent but were just not playing up to our capability right now."
