Fla LB Plans Return Visit to Clemson

Jeremy Campbell, one of the top linebackers in Florida, took an official visit to Clemson earlier this year and will likely take in another Clemson later this fall. Where else will the blue-chip linebacker take official visits? CUTigers.com has all the answers in this recruiting update.

Outside of his recent official visit to Clemson, 6-2, 215 pound linebacker prospect Jeremy Campbell has also recently made an official visit to Purdue. "It was a pretty good visit," Campbell said of his trip to see the Boilermakers. "I liked hanging out with the guys. I talked a lot with the coaches. It was nice. It wasn't quite like Clemson, but it was nice."

How would Campbell rate his visit on scale of 1 to 10? "I would give it a ten or eleven," he said.

With two official visits in the bag, the talented defender is looking at taking two more before wrapping up the recruiting process. "I am planning to take an official visit to Louisville on October 25. Then I am going to Indiana sometime in December. That will probably be it," he said.

"I want to take all my official visits before I make my decision. It will probably be late December or January before I make a commitment."

What factors will be most important to Campbell when he makes his decision? "I want to see how I feel in the atmosphere at the school. I will look at how I feel around the players. Academics will also be very important," Campbell responded.

The Tigers will get a return visit from from the standout linebacker later this fall. "I need to talk to coach Hobby about that. I do plan to get back up there for another game. I might come up for the Florida State game," he said.

The Florida standout apparently feels very comfortable with Hobby. "I haven't talked to him yet this week. He usually calls once a week. He is nice. He reminds me of my dad. That is a good thing. He is cool to talk to just like my dad," Campbell said.

Which school is recruiting Campbell the hardest at this time? "No school is recruiting me harder than the others. They are all contacting me about the same right now," he added.
