Alex Dekle, a 6-2, 270 pound defensive tackle prospect is enjoying an undefeated season so far for Statesboro High. "We are having a good year. We are 7-0 so far," Dekle told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I'm not sure of my stats. I don't know them off the bat, but our team is goind great."

When asked who his current favorites are in the recruiting process, Dekle responded, "I don't have a leader. My top five are Ohio State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Central Florida and Tennessee."

Dekle has offers from all five of his favorites.

Clemson just recently joined his impressive offer list. "They offered about two or three weeks ago. My coach told me they made a verbal offer. I haven't had much time to talk with them since they offered. The coach has called a few times but I haven't been here," Dekle said.

"If I can make it up there for a game I will. I'm not sure yet though."

What will be the most important factor when Dekle decides on the college of his choice? "It will be academic help. I have not decided on my help yet," Dekle responded.
