Is Spiller Visiting Clemson Saturday?

Some of the top prospects in the southeast will travel to Death Valley on Saturday to watch the Tigers try to defeat the Noles. Will 5-star running back C.J. Spiller be one of those in attendance? has the latest in this recruiting update.

Not surprisingly, the 5-10, 185 pound prospect finished the regular season with impressive statistics for Union County (Fla.). "We won 50-27 this week. It was our last regular season game. I had over 1500 yards rushing and 26 touchdowns this year. We begin the playoffs on Friday night," Spiller told in a recent interview.

Is Spiller still planning on coming to the Clemson-Florida State game this weekend? According to Spiller himself, he is.

"Yeah I am planning to come up to the game, but I need to get with my uncle. If my uncle can't come I may come with my cousin," he said.

The Florida standout traveled to Tallahassee last weekend where he watched North Carolina State upset Florida State. "It was a great game to go over there and watch. I was surprised at the outcome. After the game the players just said the ball didn't roll their way," Spiller said.

When asked if he has any favorites in the recruiting process, once again, Spiller declined, "You know I don't really have any favorites. They are all still pretty much the same. I am going to wait until after my season to narrow things down to a top five," he said.

So where do the Tigers stand with Spiller? "They are still in the mix," he responded. What will he be looking for in determing where he'll play his college football? "I will look at academics and the depth chart. I also will look at how I get along with the players and coaches. I want to major in business management," Spiller added.
