Q & A with Tymere Zimmerman

Tymere Zimmerman has a busy summer ahead of him, but he'll spend most of his time getting ready for what counts most- and that's next season in Tiger Town.

Tymere Zimmerman has his ultimate goal right in front him, all he has to do now is wait for his time to come. Here is the latest on one of top recruits to sign with the Tigers in 2002.

What's going on big man? How are things going for you?
Real good. I am practicing with the basketball team right now to stay in shape- they do a lot of running. I'm getting ready to go home in about 23 days, then I'll be in Clemson for summer school in July. I am going down on July 8th so I will get to work out some. I am ready to play.

Have you been down to Clemson lately?
I wanted to come to the spring game, but I didn't have a ride from school.

What will you be doing between now and July?
I'll be working out and throwing with Syvelle. We will work out together most of the summer, at least thats what we've talked about. I'm definitely ready to get home, and I'm ready to be a Tiger.

Has Syvelle talked with you about maybe coming to Clemson next year?
I mean he said which every school he can play at- thats where he is going. He wants to be able to play right away, so he is waiting to see.

The one thing you can say about Tymere Zimmerman, is that he's as excited as anyone about the opportunity to wear a Clemson uniform next season. I think I speak for all Clemson fans when I say that we are all in for one heckuva a ride over the next couple of years.
