Big OL: Visit Exceeded All Expectations

Offensive lineman Nick Brousseau was one of two official visitors to Clemson this weekend. Is Brousseau close to receiving an offer? Is he close to a verbal commitment? has all the details in this recruiting update.

6-9, 300 pound offensive line prospect Nick Brousseau drove 17 hours (from Wisconsin) to see what Clemson University had to offer this weekend. "It was really awesome. It exceeded all of my expectations. The game day atmosphere was crazy. It was better than any game I have experienced," Brousseau told in an interview Sunday morning.

"I came down with my family. My mom, dad and sister all made the trip. They all like it. They liked the campus and everyone liked the game."

Brousseau spent most of his time with several of the Clemson offensive linemen Saturday following the game. "The coaches were all real nice. The players were awesome. I hung out with Barry Humphries and also with Nathan Bennett. We went out with a lot of players," he said.

And what about an offer? Have the Tigers pulled the trigger on a scholarship offer yet? According to Brousseau, he's waiting a little longer to find out.

"No, they didn't offer this weekend," Brousseau responded. "They said they are still in season. They are real busy, especially with the South Carolina game this week and I understand that. They said they will get me an answer in the next 30 days."

The star lineman currently has an offer from Indiana and is also getting interest from Wisconsin and Iowa.

Would Brousseau commit to the Tigers quickly if offered? "No, not right away," stated Brousseau. "I am going to take some other visits, but I don't have any others planned yet."
