Visit Earns Tigers Official for Florida LB

Kevin Alexander made the long trip to Death Valley on Saturday where he watched the Tigers whip the Noles. The visit to Clemson was his first, but it won't be his last.

6-3, 215 pound linebacker/defensive end prospect Kevin Alexander traveled to Clemson Saturday with teammate Willy Oliver to witness the Tigers' 35-24 win over Florida State. caught up with Alexander Sunday afternoon to get his thoughts on the big game.

"We left about 1 AM for the game. I really enjoyed it. It was a good crowd. They really packed everyone in there," Alexander said. "I got to talk to Coach Bowden and Coach Swinney. We just talked about the campus and the school. When I was with Coach Swinney we talked to some of the linebackers. They have a couple of seniors. I think I would have an opportunity for some playing time."

How did Alexander rate the visit on a scale of one to ten? "I would give it an eight. It was great," he said.

"I think I am a little closer to a decision right now. Clemson is now probably one of my top six or seven. I have two official visits open. I think Clemson will probably get one of those now. I am not sure when I will come to Clemson."

The prize recruit had another outstanding game for Union County this week. "We won 27-7 on Friday night. I think I had about 6 solo tackles."
