6-3, 215 pound linebacker/defensive end prospect Kevin Alexander traveled to Clemson Saturday with teammate Willy Oliver to witness the Tigers' 35-24 win over Florida State. CUTigers.com caught up with Alexander Sunday afternoon to get his thoughts on the big game.
"We left about 1 AM for the game. I really enjoyed it. It was a good crowd. They really packed everyone in there," Alexander said. "I got to talk to Coach Bowden and Coach Swinney. We just talked about the campus and the school. When I was with Coach Swinney we talked to some of the linebackers. They have a couple of seniors. I think I would have an opportunity for some playing time."
How did Alexander rate the visit on a scale of one to ten? "I would give it an eight. It was great," he said.
"I think I am a little closer to a decision right now. Clemson is now probably one of my top six or seven. I have two official visits open. I think Clemson will probably get one of those now. I am not sure when I will come to Clemson."
The prize recruit had another outstanding game for Union County this week. "We won 27-7 on Friday night. I think I had about 6 solo tackles."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding linebacker from Florida, right up through signing day.
