5-11, 180 pound cornerback prospect Marcus Udell received a visit from Clemson assistant Dabo Swinney for the second straight week. "Coach Swinney came by the school last Tuesday. We talked about the depth chart and the defensive schemes," Udell told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
When asked if he was ready to name a leader in the recruiting process, Udell responded, "It's too close to call. Clemson and Florida are there. Maryland is also there.
"Right now, I know that I am going to Clemson on January 13 with DeAndre. I will be going to Florida on January 20. I may visit Alabama, but I am not sure yet."
Udell, like several other top prospects in Florida, says he plans to make a decision sometime in January. "I will probably wait until I have taken all of my visits to make a decision. I'm not getting any pressure from the schools to go ahead and make a decision," he said.
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive back from Florida, right up through signing day.
