What do you think about this week of practice and just the Shrine Bowl in general?
Wilkerson: It is fun man. I'm having a good time. We all are.

Did you enjoy the visit to the hospital on Sunday?
Wilkerson: It went pretty good. I think the biggest thing is that it put things in perspective for you.

Have you spent a lot of time with the other Clemson commitments this week?
Wilkerson: I've been hanging out with Ricky (Sapp), Darius (Gaither) and Richard (Jackson). It's been fun. We've been talking a lot.

What are your goals for this week?
Wilkerson: I'm just trying to earn a starting spot. That's the main thing. I want to play a lot Saturday. We don't really know who will run with the first team yet.

Have you come down yet from that exciting victory in the state championship game?
Julius Wilkerson: I'm still enjoying that state championship game. That was great.
