Fla LB Set to Announce?

With his last official visit scheduled for this weekend, this linebacker has a timeframe in place.

Jeremy Campbell will decide next week where he will play next year. Could the talented linebacker be the next Clemson commitment? CUTigers.com has the latest in this recruiting update.

The 6-2, 215 pound prospect had several coaches visit last week including Coach Hobby. "Coach Hobby came by the school last week. We had a good visit. The coach from Kansas also stopped by the school and the house," Campbell told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

The Florida standout is currently preparing to take his final official visit this weekend. "Yeah I am going up to Kansas this weekend. I am going up on Saturday. I am only to going to take four visits," he said.

When will the talented linebacker have a decision? "We will sit down and talk next week after we get back from Kansas. Once we do that we should have a decision. We will have a decision next week," Campbell said.

"My dad and I do everything together. We said we would wait until we take all of the visits. Then we will sit down and talk about the schools and make a decision."

The talented athlete is now helping Spruce Creek on the basketball court. "I am playing basketball now. We have games both Thursday and Friday. We are 8-1 on the year. I am doing okay. I could do a little better. I am averaging a double double," he said.

When asked if he is ready to name a leader, Campbell responded, "No, right now I am still hanging in the air. I have never been to Kansas so I am not sure what to expect. I did like Louisville. I am just going to wait until next week when me and my dad can sit down and talk about it."

The prize recruit is ready for to get his decision behind him. "I'm ready to get the process over. I want to be able to focus on basketball," he added.
