Where Will He Visit?

Clemson is battling several SEC schools to get 5-star defensive end prospect Peanut Whitehead on campus for an official visit. What's the latest with one of the top players remaining on the Tigers' board? CUTigers.com has the latest in this recruiting update.

The official visit tour continues to change for the West End (Ala.) standout. For the latest, CUTigers.com spoke with the five-star defensive end Wednesday evening.

"I haven't decided on all of them. I have only set one visit right now. I am going to Alabama on January 13," Whitehead said. "I will decide over the holidays where else I will visit. I will take all five of them. I am looking at Clemson, Tennessee, Auburn and Arkansas for the other visits."

Whitehead has already visited Louisville officially.

And how will the Alabama standout make the final decision about where he will visit? "All of them are great schools. I will find some way to decide over the holidays. I'm just not sure yet," he said.

Clemson assistants Dabo Swinney and Marion Hobby have been working hard to try to convince Peanut to take an official visit to Clemson. "Coach Hobby came down last week. We had a good visit I thought."

"I expect all the head coaches to come visit in January," he added.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive lineman from Alabama, right up through signing day.
