SPARTANBURG - caught up with Jamal Medlin Saturday to get the latest on his new offers.

One prospect that made a big name for himself during the week leading up to the Shrine Bowl was Orangeburg-Wilkinson OL Jamal Medlin.

Medlin drew the attention from college coaches and recruiting enthusiasts alike all week long, and also added a few new offers in the process. caught up with the talented lineman after Saturday's Shrine Bowl to get the latest on the recruiting process and which direction he may go from here.

How did you enjoy playing against the best players in North Carolina today?
Medlin: You know it was probably the most fun I've had in a game of my life.

How do you think you played today against the state's best players?
Medlin: I think I did very well.

Which teams offered you a scholarship this week?
Medlin: The only new one is South Carolina so far. Besides Clemson (which was earlier) that's pretty much it.

Any thoughts about the recruiting process or when you may be ready to make a commitment?
Medlin: I'm not sure right now. I want to talk with my family first to see what is best for me then I'll probably make a decision.
