Clemson Lands Another Commitment

The Clemson Tigers picked up their 17th verbal commitment in the 2006 recruiting class today.

The Clemson Tigers received their 17th verbal commitment today when Parkview tight end Michael Palmer committed to Clemson assistant coach Ron West.

This past season, Palmer caught 20 passes for over 300 yards and five touchdowns and was also named as a first team All-State performer by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Palmer, who visited Clemson unofficially less than two weeks ago, had offers from both Clemson and Virginia.

Palmer is one of two tight ends currently verbally committed to the Tigers, although Jamie Cumbie is currently slated to play on the defensive line at Clemson. will have more on Palmer's big decision, later this evening. Top Stories
