One of the top targets on the board for the Clemson Tigers in the 2006 recruiting class is big offensive lineman Jamal Medlin. The Orangeburg, SC native just returned home from a surprise official visit to Maryland this weekend. Did the Terps leave a lasting impression?

How was your visit to Maryland this weekend?
Jamal Medlin: It was alright.

What did you like the best about the visit?
Jamal Medlin: Just all the details about the program. They showed me all the details about the program. They did a good job of explaining everything.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to ten?
Jamal Medlin: I would give it about an eight. It was good.

Did you make a verbal commitment to Maryland during the visit?
Jamal Medlin: No, I have not made a commitment.

Did the visit change your leader or favorites?
Jamal Medlin: Not really, it is still the same.

Are you sticking with your other official visit plans?
Jamal Medlin: Yeah, I will still be taking my other visits.

Are you still planning to visit Clemson next weekend?
Jamal Medlin: Yes, I am going to Clemson on January 13.

Medlin also has official visits set with N.C. State Jan. 20th and South Carolina Jan 27th.
