The 6-4, 265 pound prospect already has a couple of scholarship offers and that list will likely grow quickly over the next few months.

"Right now I have offers right now from Maryland and Middle Tennessee. I am getting interest from South Carolina, Vanderbilt, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Auburn, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Clemson," Richardson told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

The Spring Valley standout attended the Army Junior combine earlier this month in Texas. "I went out to the combine. It was great. I hope I can make it back next year for the game," he said.

When asked if he has any early favorites int he recruiting process, Richardson responded, "I don't know. I am really even right now. I don't really have any favorites.

"I will probably wait until close to signing day to make a commitment. If I get to go to the Army All-American game next year I will announce my decision then."

What are Richardson's strengths on the field? "On offense my strengths are my aggressiveness, strength and my technique. I am also a better run blocker. On defense my pass rush is excellent and I have good block recognition.

"But I want to work to get stronger this year. I am always learning new techniques. For defense I want to work on my speed."

Richardson currently runs a 5.0 forty.

And what about his summer camp plans? "I might go to Notre Dame," he said. "I am definitely going to South Carolina. I will also probably go to the Nike camp. I might go to North Carolina or Auburn."
