4-Star OL Plans Two Clemson Trips

This member of Scout.com's National Top 100 will visit Clemson two times this spring. Who are the current favorites for the 4-star lineman? CUTigers.com has all the answers in this recruiting update.

6-6, 330 pound offensive line prospect Chris Little is already is building an impressive offer list during his junior year at Twiggs County High School (GA). "I have offers from Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson and Mississippi State right now. I am getting mail from a lot of other programs. I am hearing from most of the ACC and SEC," Little told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

When asked if he has any early leaders in the recruiting process, Little responded, "I am still waiting for offer from Florida State. My top two schools are Georgia and Florida State but that could change.

Little said he has several trips planned this spring, including two to Clemson. "I am going to Georgia this weekend. I will be going to Georgia Tech the weekend after that. Then the next weekend I will be going to Clemson.

"I am also going to the Nike combine at Clemson later on."

The Clemson Tigers have signed two top prospects from Twiggs County the past two years in LB Antonio Clay and RB Joe Joe Cox. That Clemson connection could be a factor according to Little. "Yeah Me and Joe Joe are cousins," he said. "Antonio and I grew up together. It kind of helps Clemson, but not too much. It does a little though."

What are the strengths of the talented offensive lineman? "I am really well rounded," Little responded. "There is not really one thing that stands out. I would say basically everything."

The 4-star lineman also said that he does not plan to make an early verbal commitment. "I will probably make a decision sometime next fall," he said. "It will be either by mid-season or at the end of my (senior) season. I am going to work on everything next year. I want to get even better on everything."

What will the 4-star lineman look for in a school? According to Little, early playing time and a good education sit at the top of his list.

"Really the education program. I will also look at the depth chart," he said. "I will look for a place where I can play early."

Coach Ron West is recruiting the talented lineman for the Tigers.
