Tigers Recruiting GA ATH

Brandon Barden is a big athlete from Lincoln County High School in the state of Georgia.

He plays quarterback now, but will likely make the move to tight end on the next level and he already has several schools heavily interested in signing him.

"I hear a lot from Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina and Clemson. Clemson and Auburn are probably sending me the most stuff right now," Brandon Barden said.

Two schools sit atop his favorites list right now.

"I like Georgia or Virginia Tech the most probably."

What stands out about the Dawgs and the Hokies?

Georgia: "I went to junior day last weekend and they had really nice dorms and a nice weight room."

Virginia Tech: "I haven't been up there but it's a good program and they throw to the tight end a lot."

Brandon already has a few summer camps in mind.

"I'm going to camp at Clemson, Georgia, Virginia Tech and Auburn. I may go to Florida also."

Playing quarterback in high school and switching to tight end is something Barden will have to overcome if he's to be heavily recruited.

"A lot of schools are recruiting me at athlete and we run the ball a lot so I show that off. I played tight end my 10th grade year so they know I can catch too."
