Cloy Impressed with Clemson Visit

Spring Valley standout offensive lineman Mason Cloy traveled to Clemson on Friday to learn more about the Tigers. has all the details in this recruiting update.

6-4, 260 pound offensive line prospect Mason Cloy made an unofficial visit to Clemson on Friday. "I went up with my mom. It was a really good visit. I enjoyed it a whole lot," Cloy told "Clemson definitely has a nice campus. I got some first class treatment from the coaches. I enjoyed everything I saw. They have nice facilities. They are building a new weight room and a new locker room."

Mason's mother also enjoyed the visit to Tiger Town. "Yeah my mom enjoyed it a lot. She liked how they are so tight on the players about keeping the grades up. She liked Vickery hall," he said.

Cloy's current offer list stands at five, but don't be surprised to see that number grow over the next few months.

"Right now I have offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Southern Mississippi and East Carolina. I am also hearing from Virginia Tech, Auburn, North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Penn State and Stanford," he said.

When asked if he has any current favorites, Cloy responded, "No sir, everybody is equal. I haven't been around to see enough teams yet. I want to do that before naming favorites."

What about other visits?

"I don't have any other visits planned right now," he stated. "I am trying to work that out now. I will probably make it to South Carolina's spring game and maybe Clemson's."

Which teams are recruiting Cloy the hardest right now? "I would say Clemson, Southern Mississippi, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Stanford and Auburn," added Cloy. Top Stories
