Tigers Offer TE Will Paul

TE Will Paul has offers from schools all over the country, including the Clemson Tigers. We've got the latest on one of the most sought after tight ends in the nation in this report.

Will Paul (6-4, 255, 4.59) of St. Louis Parkway West, Missouri is an outstanding two-way player who is being recruited by some schools as a pass-catching tight end and other schools are recruiting him as a defensive end.

"I had 25 catches for 289 yards and 4 TDs last year at tight end and 29 carries for 55 yards 3 TDs at fullback," said Paul. "Defensively, I recorded 60 tackles and 5 sacks."

And how many scholarship offers are already on the table for this jumbo athlete?

"I have 19 offers right now."

"Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Clemson, UCLA, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Illinois, LSU have all offered me."

And when will he be making his decision?

"I'll probably make my decision late January early February."

Paul has been hearing extensively from schools in the midwest with Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, LSU, Iowa, and Nebraska being in contact most recently.

In terms of potential, Will Paul would be an outstanding addition to the Tigers' offensive package. He has great hands, solid quickness for an athlete of his size, and a knack for turning small gains into bigtime yardage.

"I have good hands and I love breaking tackles in the secondary," says Paul.
