Tigers Making a Move with Richardson?

Spring Valley offensive lineman Quintin Richardson will visit a number of schools over the next few weeks. CUTigers.com has the latest on one of South Carolina's top linemen in this recruiting update.

6-5, 265 pound offensive line prospect Quintin Richardson continues to watch his offer list grow.

"I have 10 offers now. They include Clemson, South Carolina, Maryland, East Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Tennessee, Southern Mississippi, Auburn and a few others," Richardson told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I am also hearing from Notre Dame, North Carolina, Florida State and Georgia Tech."

When asked if he has any favorites, Richardson responded, "I don't have any. I am still weighing things out right now."

The talented lineman has several visits tentatively planned for the next few weeks. "This weekend I am going to North Carolina. On Sunday I am going to the Scout.com combine at Duke. Then I am going to Clemson. I am also planning to go to Virginia Tech," he said.

Richardson will also visit Clemson the first day of April. "I am going to Clemson on April 1st. I'm not sure if I will also go to the spring game at Clemson. I'm undecided now between the spring game at South Carolina and the one at Clemson," he said.

Which team is recruiting Richardson the hardest right now? "It would probably be Clemson," responded Richardson.

Clemson assistant Brad Scott is working hard to convince the Palmetto standout that Clemson is the place he for him. "Yeah coach Scott is telling me how they will have a low number of offensive linemen after this year," said Richardson. "He said they are really pushing the offensive line for the 2007 class."

Don't expect the prize recruit to narrow the field until next fall. "I think around the time I am ready to setup my official visits. Then I should be ready to narrow it down," he added.
