Richardson Talks Scout Combine; Top Schools

DURHAM, N.C. - Spring Valley star lineman Quinton Richardson was one of over 200 prospects that attended the All-American combine at Duke University on Sunday.

Quintin Richardson Profile caught up with the Palmetto state standout afterwards to get the latest on his recruitment and his visit plans for each of the next two weekends.

What did you do at the combine today?
Richardson: Basically just the one on one drill. I already did the other drills at the Army All-American combine. I am just going to take it easy.

Do you still plan to visit Clemson on April 1st?
Richardson: I am going to Clemson on the first. I might try to get up there early. I will probably be up there all day.

Who will be coming with you on your visit to Clemson next weekend?
Richardson: I will be coming with my granddad and my grandmother this time. My brother, my step father and my mother will also be coming.

Last week you had Clemson and Tennessee as your top two. Is that still the case today?
Richardson: Yeah, well you know. It is Clemson, Tennessee, North Carolina State, USC and Maryland. Those are the teams in the mix.

When do you think you will be ready to make a decision?
Richardson: I don't know. I will definitely have it over by the end of spring practice. That is the end of May.

Do you plan to attend the spring game at Clemson or South Carolina on April 8th?
Richardson: Yeah, I will (attend one). That is a big decision that I have to make too. I will probably make that decision after I visit Clemson next weekend.

Which Nike camp do you plan to attend?
Richardson: I am going to the Nike camp in Athens.

Do you plan to attend any camps this summer?
Richardson: No, I think I am just going to keep it cool on the camps this year. Top Stories
