Cloy Building Strong Offer List

Mason Cloy, one of the top centers in the southeast, continues to watch his offer list grow. has the latest on the star lineman in this recruiting update.

Mason Cloy, a 6-4, 260 pound offensive line prospect has seen his offer list grow over the past few weeks as several ACC schools have offered.

"I got an offer from Wake Forest today. Last week I got an offer from North Carolina State. I already had offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, East Carolina and Southern Mississippi," Cloy told

When asked if he has any leaders in the recruiting process, Cloy responded, "No, I don't have any leaders right now."

The prize recruit also stated that he is not close to making a commitment at the present time. "No, I am still waiting," he said. "I may be ready to make a decision during the beginning of the season."

Spring practice is just around the corner for the Spring Valley standout. "We start spring practice in about three weeks. We are lifting three days per week and condition twice a week right now," said Cloy.

The talented lineman does not believe a commitment by teammate Quintin Richardson would have much impact on his decision. "We are pretty tight, but I am going to base my decision on how I rate the schools. I have friends at several schools."

Which teams are recruiting Cloy the hardest at this time? "I don't know," he responded. "I have a lot of schools that are pretty even with that," responded Cloy. Top Stories
