Spiller: "I Wish I Could Play Today"

Not surprisingly, 5-star running back and Clemson signee C.J. Spiller is ready to get his college career off the grond ... especially after watching Saturday's Orange & White game.

C.J. Spiller and his mother made the trip up from Lake Butler, Fla. this weekend to see the Orange & White game. CUTigers.com caught up with the future Tiger running back to get his thoughts on the weekend:

How have things been going for you this weekend in Clemson?
Spiller: It's going great so far since I have been up here. Hopefully the rain can hold off and we can watch a great game today. My mom is enjoying it a lot today.

What does your mom think of the Clemson experience so far?
Spiller: She has liked it so far. I just need to see how it holds up throughout the day. I'm hoping she will walk away happy.

How was your trip up to Clemson?
Spiller: We came up with Kevin's family. We followed each other up here. We got in last night.

What did you see Saturday morning before the game?
Spiller: They showed us around all morning. We went to Vickery Hall. We went to see the old coach's offices.

What do you think of the progress on the WestZone?
Spiller: It has changed a lot since I have been here. It is coming along really well. I can't wait till it is finished. The stadium is going to look even better.

What are your thoughts about starting your Clemson career this summer?
Spiller: I can't wait to get here. That is all I have been thinking about. I wish I could play today.

How have you enjoyed your first visit to Clemson?
C.J.'s Mother: So far so good. I am enjoying it.

What did you get to see so far on your visit to Clemson?
C.J.'s Mother: We went around the campus. We went to the weight room. We went to the store and looked at a couple of things. We saw Vickery Hall. I got to see the rock.
