DE/LB: Clemson a "Big Favorite"

One of the top linebackers in the state of South Carolina is listing Clemson as a big favorite headed into the heart of spring.

Stanley Hunter proved he has the potential to be a solid player with a great showing in the South Carolina state championship game, and the Duncan, S.C. linebacker is starting to get the attention many believes he deserves.

"I just went down to Clemson for their spring game on Saturday, and I wanted to visit Georgia, but that didn't work out. I have already taken a visit to North Carolina for their junior day and Georgia for their junior day. Those were a lot of fun, and I am looking to get back there again one more time."

Hunter, who holds offers from the Tigers and Tar Heels, had a good time with Byrnes teammate and Clemson quarterback commitment Willy Korn on Saturday.

"Clemson I like a lot, and it is a big favorite. I could see myself as a bandit in their defense. When I was there, all eyes were on Will (Korn), but the coaches paid a lot of attention to me. I could see my self there because I have a great relationship with everybody especially Coach Blackwell."

Still unsure of a timeframe, Hunter will continue to keeping visiting his three favorites and even a few more schools that have yet to offer.

"There are so many things going on right now, I just have to take them one day at a time. I would love to get back to North Carolina and Georgia, and I would like to get to Tennessee and Georgia Tech."
