Tigers Make Top 3 for Alabama DL

West End-Birmingham has a monster defensive lineman by the name of Jeremiah Zene. He is hearing from several schools, and he has three high on his list.

"I am hearing from Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn, Houston, Clemson, Middle Tennessee State, Colorado and UAB," said Jeremiah Zene from Birmingham, (Ala.)

The 6-4, 360-pound defensive tackle lists three out-of-state schools as his favorites.

"My favorites are Clemson, Tennessee and Colorado.

Clemson: "I like their weight room, facilities, and I like their campus. I went up there last summer, and I like the way they run their program. Coach [Dabo] Swinney contacts me a lot. I really like him."

Colorado: "I like them because I have family out there. I haven't visited in person, but my family says the campus is real nice. I haven't really talked to any of their coaches."

Tennessee: I like their education center, atmosphere and surroundings."

When asked influences in his college decision Zene replied, "Good location and early playing time will be the biggest influence on where I go."

Zene plans to visit Miami, Colorado and Clemson in the coming months.

He will also participate in the Scout.com All-American Combine in Tuscaloosa April 29.
