Tigers Bolt to the Top for NC OL?

One of the top offensive linemen in North Carolina just received a scholarship offer from Clemson Monday morning.

One of Landon Walker's childhood favorites became the fourth school to offer the East Wilkes (N.C.) offensive lineman.

"Clemson offered this morning," said the 6-foot-6, 265 pounder who was named to the Durham Scout.com Combine first-team. "My dad played there so they have always been one of my favorite teams. It makes it a lot harder decision to choose anywhere."

The Tigers join East Carolina, N.C. State, and North Carolina in offering Walker so far this recruiting season.

Walker will attend the N.C. State team camp, North Carolina, and has yet to decide on his third camp this summer.

A two-time all-conference selection, Walker is a tall, lean offensive lineman who has the frame to add a lot more weight. He has outstanding feet, long arms, and projects as an offensive tackle on the next level.
