Tigers Offer Texas WR

Hempstead High (Texas) wide receiver Terrence Toliver (6-5, 182, 4.5) has added Clemson to his list of offers and continues to believe USC might jump on board soon.

"I talked with USC Coach (Ken) Norton on Tuesday and he said he's coming down here to see me in a couple of weeks," Toliver said. "He wants to see me run a couple of routes in person before they offer. Everyone else offered me just by seeing my tape, so I know I'll have an offer from USC after they see what I can do in person."

One of the better receivers in the country, Toliver said he still favors LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and USC, but has added Arizona to his list.

"I really hadn't thought much about my offer from Arizona until I started talking to Coach (Charlie) Williams. He told me they have a freshman quarterback coming in this year (Tyler Lyon) and that I see early playing time for sure. He said that they play USC on September 23 and that they're going to fly me out for my official visit then. I'm really excited about seeing the school and learning more about the program."

Texas Tech, Arizona, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Baylor, Colorado, Northwestern, Clemson, LSU, Oklahoma and Texas A&M have all offered the Scout.com four-star prospect.

"Clemson just offered this week," he said. "I talked with their coach and he told me I was their number one receiver. They're going to come out in a couple of weeks to see me in person. So are Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, USC and Arizona."

Toliver reports a 3.1 core GPA and is awaiting his March first-time SAT score. The 6-foot-5, 182-pound receiver had 552 yards receiving and six touchdowns as a junior.
